The Niagara Frontier Transportation Authority Police Benevolent Association is a Law Enforcement Labor Union representing the interests of the Police Officers of the Niagara Frontier Transportation Authority Police Department. The Executive Board of the Association is comprised of active duty Police Officers.
The Association's mission is to:
-Negotiate collectively with the NFTA and act as the exclusive bargaining agent on behalf of all NFTA Police Officers,
-Promote greater economic status and better working conditions for NFTA Police Officers,
-Serve as a means of exchanging information amongst the members of the association on matters of common interest,
-Give aid, assistance, and support to police officers and police associations/organizations whenever possible,
-Ensure all NFTA Police Officers' rights and freedoms are preserved and protected,
-Propose, support, and promote favorable legislation, and oppose legislation detrimental to the interests of police officers,
-Uphold the Constitution of the United States of America and the Constitution of New York State.
